The President of the Jamat, Mr. Ebrahim Hasham Kolsawala thanked the people for turning up in large numbers and revealed that work on the Award Distribution function was going on for some time, but due to some problems, were getting delayed.

The services rendered by the 125 year old Jamat, which included help to students, arranging of marriages, help to the ill through the Medical Committee and educational help through the Educational Committee were large and widespread. With the help of the Welfare, the work of education has been going at a good pace at an All India Level, in which the needy from our Jamat had been taking benefits. "Today we cannot forget the people who constitute the base of our Jamat, and the children, if they show interest in education then there is no stopping the progress that can be achieved". He also stressed the need for the latest education systems and emphasized the fact that children are the future and those students that come first class make their parents proud, including himself, the community and the country at large.
