Dr. A. Rauf Sumar, the president of The Cutchi Memon Jamat, also a well-known social worker associated in various social welfare institutions presided the annual function.

He said there are many communities in Muslims, like Shaikhs, Koknis, Cutchis and Halais, but all are integrally and finally Muslims. No matter what community we belong we all are Momins. We must thank Allah Almighty and pray for the unity of Islam. Not withstanding caste and creed, we must work for our religion Islam, and try to be beneficial and supporting to it. We have to educate our children & ourselves to a status where others look upon us for inspiration.
