In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate

All praise and gratitude is due to Almighty Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of all that exists. And may His peace and blessings be on His servant and His messenger, Muhammad.

It gives me immense pleasure in congratulating one and all, who participated in the successful completion of our gigantic project of the Memon Centre. We are particularly pleased and honoured on this occasion to have with us His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales for opening of the Memon Centre.

This Centre and all the facilities it will provide is the fulfillment of along-awaited dream. It is a dream and a vision that began to take shape in the year 1993 with the formation of The Memon Association.

Over the years, our members including our elected committee members have worked hard and selflessly, and against all odds, to realise this dream of having a community centre. The commitment and dedication of so many to serve our community without compensation has been truly remarkable and is most commendable.

The success of every organisation depends primarily on the good relations and teamwork of the members who run it I am proud and deeply grateful for all the cooperation you have given me in helping to accomplish this dream.

On this occasion, I would like to thank all the generous donors in Britain and overseas whose financial contributions and support have really made it possible for us to accomplish The Memon Centre Project.

We pray that Almighty Allah give us the guidance and the strength to put this Centre to good use and to continue the excellent work done by our members. It is my sincere hope that our Association will grow in strength and stature beyond this millennium year in the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Association.

May Allah bless you and guide us all.
