Cultural Traits
Reflecting their coastal heritage, Okhai Memons are resilient and adaptable. Their cuisine features excellent seafood dishes. They maintain strong links to their specific Falias (neighbourhoods) of origin.
Migration & Settlement
Post-partition, the majority settled in Karachi near the port. Today they have significant presence in Dubai and London.
Community Contribution
Historically ship owners, clearing agents, and general traders. In the modern era, Okhai Memons excel in import/export, shipping, and consumer goods industries.
