A tangy and spicy pickled mango condiment, a traditional Memon preserve that adds flavor to any meal.

Cut mangoes into small pieces and mix with salt.

Let sit for 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.

Add asafoetida.

Add mango pieces with salt.

Add red chilli powder and turmeric.

Mix well and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

Cool completely and store in sterilized jars.

Keep in sunlight for 3-4 days before consuming.
