Instructions

    Heat ghee, add bay leaf and cinnamon

    Add onions and ginger-garlic

    Add carrots and peas

    Add rice and toast for 2 minutes

    Add water and spices

  6. 6

    Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes

    Fluff and serve

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 carrots
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • to taste salt
  • 3 tbsp ghee
