Kharak Halwa

A traditional Memon sweet made with wheat flour, ghee, and jaggery, often prepared during festivals and celebrations.
Instructions

Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Add wheat flour gradually, stirring constantly.

Roast on medium heat for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.

In another pan, dissolve jaggery in water and bring to boil.

Strain the jaggery syrup.

Slowly add jaggery syrup to roasted flour, stirring continuously.

Add cardamom powder and dry fruits.

Cook for 5 more minutes until it reaches halwa consistency.

Pour into a greased tray and cut into pieces when cool.
