Chicken Do Pyaza

Chicken cooked with a generous amount of onions added at two stages, creating a rich, flavorful gravy with a slightly sweet and spicy taste.

Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry 2 sliced onions until golden brown and set aside half for garnish.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped onion to the pan; sauté 2 minutes.

    Add chicken, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Cook 10 minutes until chicken changes color.

    Add chopped tomatoes and simmer 15–20 minutes until gravy thickens and chicken is cooked.

    Add the reserved fried onions, stir gently, cook 2–3 minutes. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with rice or roti.
