Chicken Biryani (Slow Cooked)

Dum-cooked chicken biryani with deep, layered flavors from slow cooking on low heat.

Instructions

    Marinate chicken with yogurt and spices for 2 hours.

    Cook rice 70% done; drain.

    Layer chicken and rice; drizzle saffron milk.

    Seal pot tightly; cook on dum 35–40 minutes on very low heat.

  • Cooking oil – 5 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Saffron – pinch in 2 tbsp warm milk
