Brain curry with aromatic spices, a festive Memon delicacy.

Instructions

    Clean and boil brain until tender

    Heat oil, add bay leaf and cardamom

    Add onions and ginger-garlic, sauté until golden

    Add tomatoes and spices

  5. 5

    Add yogurt and cooked brain

    Simmer for 20 minutes

  7. 7

    Garnish with coriander and serve

  • 500g beef brain
  • 3 onions
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chili
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cardamom
  • 2 bay leaf
  • to taste salt
  • 4 tbsp oil
