Chicken Biryani

Fragrant basmati rice layered with marinated chicken and slow-cooked to perfection. Richly spiced and aromatic, perfect for festive meals.

Wash rice and soak 20 minutes. Drain.

Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, and salt for 1 hour.

Fry onions in oil until golden. Remove half for garnish.

Layer rice and chicken in a pot: half rice, chicken, remaining rice. Cover and cook on low heat 25–30 minutes.

Sprinkle fried onions, coriander, mint, and garam masala. Serve hot with raita.
